Middle school

A German middle school curriculum comprises grades five to ten and is based on the Thuringian education system. This enables our students to make an uncomplicated switch to another German school or to graduate with the German 10th grade school-leaving certificate, which qualifies them for vocational training in Germany. Furthermore, an optimal transition from middle school to the GIB program of high school is prepared by including the corresponding textbooks and by teaching more English.

In the course of middle school, our students can already set individual accents in their educational biography. At the beginning of year 5, for example, our pupils can choose a fourth foreign language. They can choose between French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese.
